"Archives in a Big Way"

Large organizations can generate huge volumes of information, some portion of which is bound to have permanent value. When it comes to processing these archives, even simple tasks are greatly complicated by the sheer size of large collections.  How can big projects be simplified and where do the archives fit among other information governing departments? By partnering with other departments and streamlining your processes, you’ll be ready to practice archives in a big way.

Speaker: Todd Gilliom, Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis

Todd Gilliom speaks from personal observation with 17 years’ experience in archives and records. Stints at the National Park Service, the State of Missouri, the University of Missouri, and the National Archives provide tales from the ground floor of archival practice in big organizations. He now resides in St. Louis, Missouri and works for the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. He holds an MIS from the University of Texas at Austin and is a Certified Records Manager and a Certified Archivist.
